A PRP procedure can help take years off your appearance, because it helps to improve color, shape and texture! PRP refers to “Platelet Rich Plasma” (PRP) that is extracted from your own body by removing just a small amount of blood from your arm. It then undergoes a special process to separate the multi-potent platelet cells that hold the potential to rejuvenate tissue. These powerful cells are then applied to or injected into the face for remarkable results!

The Vampire Facelift® involves injections of PRP into the face. This procedure can also be combined with HA (Hyaluronic Acid) fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane to improve facial structure providing immediate results. Microneedling is often recommended in conjunction with the facelift procedure as it provides an added layer of micro-trauma to the skin that promotes healing and improves circulation. Full results of the PRP injections can be seen in one to three months and can last one to two years!
The Vampire Facial® also uses Platelet Rich Plasma, but in this procedure the cells are topically applied to your skin. Again, microneedling is often recommended in conjunction with the facial as it allows deeper penetration of the cells into the dermal layer of your skin. As the microscopic punctures heal and the PRP works it’s magic, the tone, shape and texture of your skin will improve over the course of a few months and the benefits will last one to two years!
Microneedling can be performed without the use of PRP cells. Microneedling is exactly what is sounds like, a special tool produces very tiny punctures in the outer layer of your skin. Your body’s healing mechanism is triggered and collagen production is stimulated. In studies involving micro-needling it has been shown as a safe and effective way to reduce the appearance of scars and wrinkles, and improve the color of the skin by promoting blood flow.
